The unit is highly featured, with both voice and visual alerts, and has an optional removable laser sensor. The Road Angel Compact will warn of: ■ Fixed safety cameras including including Specs, DS2, Watchman, SpeedCurb, TruVelo, Gatso, SpeedMaster etc.
■ Shows you the advised speed limits at the fixed Camera sites
■ Accident blackspots
■ Primary schools
■ Congestion charging zones
■ PLUS you can store your own user defined danger areas With the optional laser sensor the unit will also warn of mobile police laser guns and safety camera vans. When the systems alerts you to a hazard it will verbally warn you the type of hazard and clearly display the advised speed limit at camera sites. The screen will also change from the standard blue to bright red as shown in the image below.

Mobile Police Laser Guns and Safety Camera Vans With the optional Laser Alert, the Road Angel Compact will warn you of mobile police laser guns and safety camera vans. The Laser Alert is ultra sensitive and can warn you up to 1.5 miles away. Being about the same size the end of your thumb, it clips on to the top of the Road Angel Compact and plugs into the Auxilary port of the unit. Please see the picture below for more details.

Intelligent Backlight Feature
New intelligent Backlight feature: A colour coded alert system utilising the existing Blue / Red backlight. If you are approaching a fixed, temporary or average speed camera location and traveling below the advisory speed limit, the display remains blue. If you are traveling above the advisory limit, or approaching a black spot or Primary School, the display backlight changes to red. If your speed subsequently drops below the advisory speed limit, the backlight returns to the normal blue colour. It can be disabled via the Alert menu.
Easy Updates
With the number of speeding cameras set to dramatically increase and accident data changing constantly, Blackspot Interactive are constantly working to verify new locations and delete obsolete ones. These changes are easily updated to your ROAD ANGEL with the supplied software and PC connection cable. All you have to do is press the synchronise button on your PC screen! 
The first six months of updates are free of charge. Subsequent subscription charges are paid by direct debit for your convenience at £3.99 per month (or £49 per year), a minimum 12 month contract is required. ROAD ANGEL Compact, guarding your life and livelihood.
