2007 Release Mapping with Building Polygon Technology The device features the latest 2007 mapping for the UK making it some of the most up-to-date systems available. Utilising the lastest programming technology the unit will show building shapes as you pass them to help you recognise landmarks as you navigate. Using the latest Sirf III GPS engine and antenna the Road Angel Navigator 9000 will find your location in seconds and brings accuracy to new levels!

FULL Postcode Search The Road Angel Navigator 9000 uses it's 4" TFT touchscreen to full effect, allowing the user to enter destinations by entering just a postcode, once the postcode is entered you can route directly to the address, view the address as positioned on the on-screen map and plot a route that incorporates that location, i.e routing from A to B to C. Optional Destination 'Push' For the commercial user destinations can be 'pushed' to the Road Angel Navigator 9000 remotely using Road Angel's web-based tracking and management application. For example, a control office could send a new destination to a despatch driver through Road Angel's tracking and web portal, increasing efficiency.
Traffic and Weather Alerts Receive traffic and weather alerts straight to the Road Angel Navigator 9000. Using GPRS technology (an inbuilt mobile internet connection) the system will alert the user of oncoming traffic jams. It features a re-routing system which will ask if you want to route around the traffic jam if it finds a qucker way, allowing you to take alternative routes saving you time and money. Weather alerts also come as standard, keeping you up-to-date with the weather at your choosen destination, which can be more important than you think!

GPRS Technology GPRS is used a lot in our day-to-day life, you may not realise your using it, but we can almost garentee that you have. GPRS technology is commonly associated with mobile phones, in simple terms it is a mobile internet connection which allows the user to transfer infomation such as text, images and other data anywhere in the world. The Road Angel Navigator 9000 has an in-built mobile phone sim card, which automatically 'pulls' information from the internet including traffic, weather and the latest speed camera locations. For an extra £4 per month you can switch on tracking, allowing secure password protected tracking of the unit for commercial purposes including couriers, sales peopel and delivery drivers.

Tracking Optionally tracking can be activated on the Road Angel Navigator 9000. Using a secure web-based application a control office can track the position of their drivers using Road Angel 9000s, increasing fleet efficiency. When it comes to controlling the fleet of drivers, new destinations and text messages can be sent to the 9000 from the web application. For example, once a driver has reached a specific destination the controller can then select another destination using Road Angel's online service and send the route to the system directly, then the driver can select whether to accept the route or not. This technology will work wonders for point-to-point couriers allowing fleet co-ordinators to see the location of their drivers at any given time and even command them from the office! The cost of the tracking option is an addition £4 per month subscription. From a crime point of view, this also means that a stolen Road Angel 9000 can be located and reported to the Police meaning easy apprehension of the culprit and recovery of the stolen navigation system.

Updating your Camera Locations Updating the Road Angel Navigator 9000 couldn't be easier. The unit updates it's camera locations automatically once every 2 hours. This means there is no need for a PC!
Subscription The Road Angel Navigator 9000 will update itself and pull information automatically meaning that all the user has to do is sit back and relax!
