The Road Angel Adventurer 7000 is the first in-car navigation system combined with speed camera locations which has the ability to take Ordnance Survey maps used for walking.

The different regions of England, Scotland and Wales are available to buy on SD card, to load straight onto the system allowing you to drive to a destination then take on the rest of the journey on foot!

Ordnance Survey Mapping

The Road Angel Adventurer 7000 comes complete with 2007 teleatlas mapping for the whole of the UK's road network, this mapping is pre-loaded onto the unit so it is ready to go, straight out of the box!

The Adventurer is the only system capable of driving you to a destination then being taken out of the car and used to guide you through country walks etc. The mapping that comes in the box is for the National Parks of England, this can then be extended for further coverage of Ordnance Survey maps of the UK.

The unit also comes complete with the UK's national parks from memory-map. Memory-map supply Ordnance survey mapping for the UK, including all regions as pictured below.

Safety Camera, Accident Blackspot and Safety Alerts

The Road Angel Navigator 7000 will also warn you of approaching safety cameras, accident blackspots, congestion charging zones and primary schools. It utilises Road Angel's award winning camera database (Scooby Magazine Winner, Evo Best Buy, Auto Express Award Winner) of camera sites, which was at the heart of the success of the Classic and New Road Angel products.

Whilst alerting you audibly (by voice and beeps) to approaching safety cameras it will display the advised speed limit in the bottom right hand corner of the screen allowing you to concentrate on your driving and not on the speed sign posts! See screen shot below.

Advisory Speed Limit

Road Angel Navigator 7000 will also warn you of the speed limit of the camera as you are approaching it meaning there's no more last second doubts - "is it 30mph, is it 40mph??". The system also incorporates an inteligent warning system which will alert you in different ways if you're going below the speed limit and above it, please see images below:

Full Screen Road Angel

The Road Angel Navigator 7000 gives you the ability to choose to display 'Navigation' or 'Full Screen Road Angel'. 'Navigation' will display a moving map displaying your current position, and 'Full Screen Road Angel' will display the speed that your vehicle is travelling at and warn you of any oncoming speed cameras. Updating the Camera Database
Through your mobile phone NEW!!

Road Angel's camera database is updated whenever new cameras are built, cameras are moved or even modified. The Road Angel Navigator 7000 has the revolutionary ability to be updated through a mobile phone! you simply connect your unit to your mobile phone through bluetooth and your unit does the rest.

 
Updating through your mobile phone is easy and only
takes a couple of minutes each time simply using bluetooth

You get 6 months of safety camera database updates free of charge, thereafter you can re-subscribe to the updates for £3.99/month by Direct Debit.

Alternatively you can pay one off payments of 1 year @ £49, 2 years @ £79 and 3 years @ £99.

Wire Free Operation

The Road Angel Navigator 7000 now features a built in battery which has up to 8 hours of power, meaning wire free operation for the majority of journeys, in addition to this the Road Angel Navigator 7000 is supplied with a striaght cigarette lighter power lead.
